Pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins....

Pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins....

I have been busy stitching up samples for the Twin Falls Sewing Center. Of course, I love doing a photoshoot when I finish them up! These festive pumpkins are one of the new holiday releases from OESD (Freestanding Primitive Pumpkins) and the are stitched on a base of felt.

I did go ahead an cut out all the applique, felt, fiber form, in advance for these, which saved some time since I could work on them in the evenings watching tv. I still plan on trying to prep some future collections on the Cricut to see if how effective that may be.  Doing the prep work helped, but I don't think it made or broke the speed or efficiency of completing the project.

These are a great addition to the OESD pumpkin line-up and I look forward to stitching up the new styles of pumpkins each year.

Stayed tuned for tomorrow to see my process for stitching out the new Primitive Appliques designs on a ready-to-wear poncho!
