Stitching Along....

it's been a busy week in the studio. Nothing like feeling the creativity and making things happen. I have been filming lots of the process of creating samples for the Twin Falls Sewing Center aka the day job!
I had multiple machines running and I was just bouncing back and forth all over the studio. I like to multi task when I can on stitching. One of my favorites is the denim jacket that I am working on refashioning with an embroidered panel:
I can't wait to chalk it, stitch it, then add some embellishments to take it up a notch. I have some plans percolating for adding the over the top effect.
Working on two machine embroidery projects at once, had me switch between two seasons, spring and winter (well, technically Christmas) One is a store sample and the other is store sample/class sample for a virtual class I am teaching for Christmas in July. Here is a peek at the tiling scene in progress:
I love how it is coming together; I have it about 1/3 finished up and am heading into the studio to stitch more later today. (I have been filming along the way for an upcoming course on my method for stitching and assembling the tile scenes).
